There is nothing more upsetting than making one mistake which ruins all your photos from a day.

Today, we went biking around Decorah (Iowa) after dinner, to get to know the town. As usual,  I stopped somewhere on the road and started shooting. I did not realize that I have left-over settings after last session – ISO 800. Imagine my surprise when I saw my beautiful photos on my computer…  You can prize Lightroom and Photoshop, but they just won’t fix all your mistakes. Again, maybe this time I will not forget. You are setting 3 things for each photo – aperture, shutter, and ISO!

I think the double processing technique I wrote about some time ago worked OK on this photo. But I am just so disappointed with myself today :(.

Yes indeed, I like my latest camera for overcoming these little things…..the lumix G2 allows me to override settings by pressing the iA button. Yes its intelligent auto but it will jump you in and out of anything else and seems to be just thing for me and my type of pictures.
