White church

November 16th, 2008

I did this black-and-white post on Friday, really aiming at infrared, which didn’t work too well. I got obsessed with the idea for a while, but just nothing seemed to work. I tried a few very different photograph and just couldn’t get what I expected. I figured I will try the real thing some time. Meantime, I played with Channel Mixer on another photo, aiming just at dark sky, which was supposed to contrast the white church. Now, that’s better. On the general note,  this is the Missionary Baptist Church on the Cades Cove loop.
