One day, I noticed something green growing below the stairs to my house. I was rather surprised, but returned with a camera to photograph and explore up close what decided to raise there. From up close, I recognized the tulip, but it took additional time to realize, what the poor plant is doing there! Last spring, I bought some tulips in the pot, and after they lost the flowers, I dried the bulbs for my mom. She visited us in late April, and decided not to take them with her, but planted them under our stairs! Out of 3, if I remember correctly, one survived the winter. Let’s see, if it will bloom.
