Great blue heron
We were coming back from the boat trip during our Northern Wisconsin vacation when my brother in law spotted this blue heron in the rushes. We were floating around him, so I can take same photos. The heron was oblivious to our presence most of the time. This was one of the situations I could have used a bit longer lens, instead of seriously cropping the image. In this case, luckily, it did not affect the quality of the image too much.
