Balloon glow
I enjoy photographing airplanes, especially airplanes performing acrobatic maneuvers during an airshow. I got used to many of the maneuvers, but still appreciate the technique and skills pilots put into each one of them.
The air balloons are still a novelty for me. They typically have more colors and create more contrast with cloudless blue sky. I am looking forward seeing some more of them up close this year during Airventure. And the night glow- it is a unique experience all by itself. I took this photograph during balloon festival in Altoona, Iowa last year. I only learned about it then, so we went just to see the night glow. And take some images.
