#MacroMonday – peeking into a barrel

It is probably a weird choice for #Macro Monday post. After all, it is pretty hard to talk about macro photography in case of airplanes (and other large machines). But it certainly classifies as a close-up, doesn’t it? Morover, it maybe breaks a bit a long stream of bugs and flowers, or bugs on flowers- the main themes. And I am guilty of it as any other person.

What you are looking into is a barrel of a gun on B25 Pacific Prowler. Taken a few years ago, at Airventure, only now, with Lightroom 4 new processing, I was able to reveal the bottom of what was previously just a black hole. If you look closely, you will see the reflection of the whole gun on the mirror-polished side of fuselage.
