Red bicycle
This weekend, we went to visit National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa. Museums like that are a great fun for macro photography, with lots of details. And here, they had a huge collection of motorcycles and bicycles, form various times and manufacturers.
Unfortunately, I have no macro lens at this point. Further, although all the objects were well lit, or so it looked, I was shooting all day long wide open, f/1.4 up to f/2, maybe. Still, slow shutter speed and lack of depth of field, and editing those images was a rather quick task. Reject, next, reject… I said I will be happy if I get three good out of this. Not many more stayed after the first look through. This is one of the best. The white tire on the bright red bike- you just have to love the contrast.
