Staring at a window

In yesterdays post about watching the birds on the deck I wrote about accompanying my cats doing that. Particularly Torie finds it amusing. Torie is my year and a half old cat. She absolutely hates being photographed, and runs away the moment I pick up my camera, even an iPhone. However, I have found a great way to photograph her, the one she does not mind at all. I take photographs of reflection of hers in the window. It allows me to catch great expression, like those dramatic eyes here, focused on something important happening outside.
