Closing up on accessories

For today’s Macro Monday I went deeply into content of my camera bag, or more camera accessories shelf. I needed something small. What I found was something cool and cute, with glass surfaces and beautifully reflecting and dispersing the light. OK, maybe it was a bit tricky to get the light hitting just right, but moving the subject is easier then re-setting the lights.

For those who have no idea what I photographed, it is a level which you can mount on hot shoe of the camera to set it just right. Probably most useful for landscape photographer, maybe architecture, too. Since I gave up on becoming another Ansel Adams, I have not found much use for it. It stays in a box next to spare battery and filters, waiting for evenings like today.
