Orchid in pink

Noelridge Park Greenhouse snap

Yesterday, the local photography club I belong to (and occasionally even attend meetings) organized photo outing to a greenhouse. It was a discovery that there is something like tiny indoor botanical garden you can visti in our area. By what people were talking about it, I had an idea of what to expect- and it was absolutely not that! I expected more outdoor flowers which they would later plant around the city, and it turned out to be a conservatory type of place, with orchids and cacti. No tulips or black-eyed susan.

After looking around and taking few snaps of the whole thing (couple panoramas did the job), I settled with orchid. They were more promising for “Curls”, this week’s Macro Monday theme.
