Sunset glow on the prairie

This image is purely about color. I took it probably an hour before those balloon glow shots, in the moment when everybody was preparing for the evening show. Nobody paid attention to the light spectacle on the side. I took 5 exposures thinking to merge them into HDR. But when i started to work on it, I abandoned the idea and went for more classic layer masking. I took the lightest and darkest image, and just masked the field in the top, lighter version. Quicker, if not considering the time I spend on HDR before hand. But this gave much better effect, showing what I was looking for. I wanted to preserve the beautiful glow, but show details in the interesting sky and the foreground.
