Fungi (In the grass)

Sometimes, it happens with those shooting assignments (like Macro Monday on G+) that I will start over-thinking it. I’ve got so focused on what the ideal “In the grass” image would be (thinking bugs, spider web), that I almost ignored what was there just in front of me. For few weeks now, I am shooting a mini-project – the abundance of fungi. They are appearing on almost any lawn in the area. Variety of shapes, colors, forms- they are just fascinating, and the wet weather these days suits them well. And, most of all, they are “In the grass”!
