Mall Fountain

I dug this image from last September trip to Omaha, Nebraska. It is a waterfall on the Gene Leahy Mall, downtown. I looked at the image, and wondered about the flowing water. Typically, you would shoot with the slow shutter speed, to render water as the white, dreamy area. I have not done it. And I am quite happy I have not. First, it was a walk with number of coworkers, and I did not have a tripod nor time to set it up. But secondly, just look how the sun light reflects in the flowing water. I really like the effect, which would be totally lost with the longer shutter speed.
