Shadows on the snow

Couple of weeks ago, I was just killing time , waiting for Tomasz to finish whatever it was he was doing, trying to find some pictures. It was sunny late morning on Saturday, and we just got fresh snow that week. I knew it would not work to shoot landscapes in those conditions, so I went into shade of the woods, looking for subjects closer to me and better lit. And then I started noticing the shadows the trees were leaving on the clean background of white snow…
