Snow sculpture

I photographed very little winter this year. So when last week temperature increased just a sufficient notch to be able to get out of the car and do not freeze to the pavement, I went to work a bit earlier one day. I stopped on the field on my way, and photographed snow. The shapes, when you get close to them, remind me of Antarctica landscapes, of icebergs. The snow however is softer, and has different texture, so you can easily see it is just an illusion. You still do not have feeling for scale, though. It was a fun little project, and right on time- by today, there are only remaining large piles of snow in parking lots. Spring might be coming, after all.
