Spider plant revisited

The task seemed easy. Set up aperture above f/16 and use macro lens. After all, you get close to the subject, the depth of field drops drastically and you still get great bokeh. Yeah, right, Try on a leaf. Or a berry. You will be surprised how much depth of field there is at f/25, even from few inches away. No, I needed a subject with more depth, and some interest in the back. Scouting my home proved disappointing. Until I looked, actually looked at the pots of spider plants I have scattered all around the place.
