Total lunar eclipse, Iowa

It was cloudy all day, and I can’t even tell when the clouds finally cleared. We were not planning to watch eclipse, but Tomasz went out to the eck and here it was, happening. Well, we sat and watched. After at least 15 min we decided to try photographing, with an iPhone. Needless to say, it did not get us far. So we went to dig the tripod (at least the camera was handy). Not the most impressive picture on the net, I was surprised actually to see how unstable my tripod turned to be at the slight breeze yesterday in the evening.
