Busy bees

Bees pollinating pink aster

It does not happen often that I share images which are not mine, not unless I do a book review. So today comes something different. This photograph was taken by my father. I came on it by accident, browsing through family archives. I complimented him for it, and he encouraged me to share it. He himself is not doing any of this online stuff nor Social Media. I decided to it, since I like the image a lot. It is a great moment caught in a busy garden in spring, not one, but two bees pollinating the same flower, creating repeating pattern. I cropped it so the symmetry is even more obvious, and darkened some the petal of the aster.
