Fabric and glass

I did not have much time to photograph during Worldwide Photo Walk last Saturday in Kalona, IA. Between chatting with walkers and making sure everyone knows where to go next, I allowed myself only few minutes in the first antique store we visited. I wished I had more time, though. I felt like a kid in the candy store. Objects and more objects in every corner. It is sometimes hard to find a clean composition in conditions like this, so I focused. I looked for amazing light and details on fabric and glass materials. Somehow, those fascinated me more than juxtapositions of figurines and everyday objects. Here is a gallery of the few of my favorites from the day – click on any to see larger version.
