Fire engine

We went yesterday to Pioneer Village, a historical place in Scott County Park not far from Davenport. It is a really interesting place, run by local Historical Society, with several old buildings and many antique objects and furniture. Maybe a bit overcrowded with items in places.
I was well prepared for photographing inside, I had a flash and a Rouge FlashBender from Expo Imaging, small, compact and very helpful in working in te location with many different types of light are needed. My husband was the master of this, and I was just picking frames.
The old fire station had an old fire engine, and the color of the car was contracting well with those black, massive boots. Using the flash not only helped to take a sharp photograph in dark interior, it also created shadows and helped to put focus on the image in busy space.
