Stearman

One of the members in our aero club owns this beauty and took it for a ride on Saturday afternoon. I had my camera with me by pure accident, and with 85 mm macro lens, shooting was a “creative challenge”, but I got a few pics. This is one of my favorites, I liked the structure of the clouds above the airplane. The HDR treatment helped define that structure as well as accent the details in the fuselage. Mind you, single image HDR, I am shooting nowadays D40x, and have not master back the button combinations and menu secrets to do everything sufficiently fast.
