Winter birds

It’s March already, but the winter is not giving up here at all. The snow was slow to come at first, and now we are getting another heavy snow storm of the season. I look out of my window, and feel like I will be taking snow images for another couple of weeks. Before I take camera and go out to catch some images of clean, white landscape, let me share some of the images from my backyard. My deck, rather. Snow provides great background to create atmosphere in the wild birds photos I enjoy taking whole winter. It is not much work, to set up a feeder and drop some grain on the deck itself, to have birds come closer. And then- hours of pure fun, waiting for a movement, gesture, maybe a fight or two.
This dark-eyed junco was as curious to what I am doing as I was observing him.
