Precise tools

It starts as an object oriented week on blog. I had some new tools for a project at work delivered recently. They were new and stainless-steel shiny, I thought they would make for an interesting photo object. It took me more then a week to build a studio from scratch, we put it away before we left for long vacation in Poland. But it is back and in operation now. Photographing those precise tweezers and scissors was not an easy task by itself, especially for a stock submission. Then I spend some time getting the right depth of field. I was working with a prime lens, which luckily focuses pretty close to enable me to get not much more then my set in frame. But I didn’t even need apertures of f/2.8 to blur the back. I decided to put the shallower depht of field image on blog. I really like how it makes just one of tools stand out.
