San Francisco – Day 7

Our trip to San Francisco is slowly winding down. Yet, each coming day brings new attractions and great experiences in this town. We had by far the best weather here today, and even with that we were treated with quick hail from the sky otherwise showing blue.

We started sightseeing today from de Young museum. We almost skipped it, after already visiting SF MoMA. I am glad we did not. It was the last day of the amazing, but only week long exhibit called “Bouquets of art”. I was blown away by the creativity and inspiration in that exhibit. Sometimes, the flower compositions imitated the art in the form and the color. Sometimes, they just contained and element or two connecting to the particular piece in the permanent exhibit. Sometimes they were the art on their own.

Check the blog in upcoming weeks for more examples of the “bouquets of art”, let me just leave you today with a taste of what it was… It was a last day, so if you have not seen it, you need to wait till next year…
